In der Installation „Reading Room“ werden wegweisende Fragmente architektonischer Schriften und Ausgaben der Arch+ geschaut, gelesen, getauscht, begleitend entstehen typologisch-morphologische Serien von Zeichnungen und Modellen, architektonische Fragmente, eine Idee ergänzt die andere. Diese Entwurfsreihe (dictionairy of buildings) der ideellen Bibliothek (Sammlung der Ideen) führt vom „Modell ohne Idee/model without a concept“ zum „Modell, dessen Maßstab sich anhand seiner Bedeutung bemisst/model with a meaning“ und vollendet sich im Sommer im Rahmen der Architekturbiennale Venedig, wo das kleine architektonische Alphabet getestet wird. Vom 28. August bis 3. September bespielt der Lehrstuhl Raumgestalt und Entwerfen, Prof. Oda Pälmke den Deutschen Pavillon auf der 18. Internationalen Architektur Biennale Venedig, der unter dem Titel „Open for Maintenance“ – „Wegen Umbau geöffnet“ von ARCH+, SUMMACUMFEMMER und BÜRO JULIANE GREB kuratiert wird.

Master class „Dictionary of Buildings“: In the installation „Reading Room“ pioneering fragments of architectural writings and editions of Arch+ are looked at, read, exchanged, accompanied by typological-morphological series of drawings and models, architectural fragments, one idea complements the other. This series of designs (dictionairy of buildings) of the ideational library (collection of ideas) leads from the „model without a concept“ to the „model whose scale is measured by its meaning/model with a meaning“ and is completed in the summer in the context of the Venice Architecture Biennale, where the small architectural alphabet is tested. From August 28 to September 3, the Chair of Spatial Design, Prof. Oda Pälmke will work in the German Pavilion at the 18th International Architecture Biennale Venice, which is curated by ARCH+, SUMMACUMFEMMER and BÜRO JULIANE GREB under the title „Open for Maintenance“ – „Wegen Umbau geöffnet“.
